Mon, 13 Feb 12 07:00:19 -0600 Heaing Cancer Naturally Pt 4 http://www.andrewdangelo.com/index.php?page=show_blog&id=83
There are many ways to remove cancer from your life. For me though, understanding 'why' the cancer had come into my life was paramount. I sought the advice of two intuitives. These were Peter Roth and Stewart A Swerdlow. Both of whom were tremendously helpful.

They asked me if I knew why the tumor had come into my life. At the time I told them I did not, which is why I was seeking their advice. Both told me that cancer was resentment and where the cancer was located was where the resentment was being held.

For me, in my brain. Which meant resentment of my own thoughts. Or if in a person's breasts then that would be resentment of nurturing. All of this made a lot of sense to me at the time. I listened intently to Peter and Stewart's advice.

There was no way I was going to be a slave to the western medical establishment for the rest of my life. I would not allow this to happen. I designed a way to remove cancer from my life.

First however, I needed to understand why cancer had come to me. That was resentment.

I used plenty of supplements and other protocols to heal my body. Did Ozone therapy by shooting it directly into my ears using a stethoscope. I also took Ozone showers using a special shower head attachment. I took Super Curcumin, vitamins A, C and mega doses of vit D. I still take 5,000 iu's of vit D. I was and still am on a daily multiple supplement from Life Extension. I took Bromelain and many mushroom extracts. The mushrooms I purchased from Fungi Perfecti out of the Northwestern US. Hight recommend their products. I was also on Zinc and taking sea salt baths daily. Which I still do on occasion. The sea salts are from Dead Sea Warehouse, very good company. And eventually I was doing colon cleanses from Blessed Herbs. However, this was over a year after brain surgeries. Colonics were helpful as well.

I was doing all of these and more. And in fact I was doing ANYTHING and EVERYTHING that was anti-cancer. However, just taking supplements and doing Ozone was not enough. There had to be a release of the mind-pattern of resentment.

I now release the need for cancer. My body is 100% healthy at all times. My body is healthy and strong at all times.

These were some of the affirmations I was using, and still do. There is a book I highly recommend to you; Decoding Your Life by Janet Swerdlow. That book is full of release techniques and affirmations. She also has another book with daily affirmations. However, that one I have not read but I'm sure it's fantastic.

So you have invited cancer into your life. Or someone you know has done so. And you are on the internet looking for a way out of the frequency. I can totally relate to that.

Remember that fist you have to understand why cancer is in your life. In my opinion it is held resentment. It is time to release that resentment and get your body healthy again. Do release work as much as you can. Always release vertically not horizontally.

There is a release technique I teach where you have an awareness about a person. Basically, visualize them in front of you. And begin to forgive them for everything they have done to you. Then, also ask that they forgive you for everything you have done to them.

This process is so liberating. You should repeat this until the person no longer appears in front of you. Sometimes it can take a long time for the release to happen (months, days, weeks). When the person disappears the release is complete. You can find more details on this by having a consultation with me or by reading Stewart A Swerdlow's book The Hyperspace Helper.

My last point is that when a person is sick or has a dis-ease, it is THEY who have to seek the healing. No one else can do it for them. It is my belief that when someone is diagnosed with a terminal illness, they decide IMMEDIATELY whether or not they are going to live or die. If you are sick then think about this: do you want to die or do you want to live? And not only that, what do you believe is going to happen?

Anything you ask for can come true. So be careful what you are asking for. Many times I hear people saying "I'm so sick" or "My life is over" or "I'm fat" or other affirmations. Remember, you will get what you ask for. Stop saying these words and change your mind-patterns. Simply brown X those thoughts and write new words for your Self. Like the affirmations above. Come up with your own.

I am always here to help and give advice on healing. If you need assistance you can contact me here through the website and have a consultation. Also, my book will be coming out this year and that has a lot of info in it as well.

I have surpassed and you can too!

Andrew

Sun, 22 Jan 12 10:47:11 -0600 Podcast Expansions! http://www.andrewdangelo.com/index.php?page=show_blog&id=79 .
This is a podcast I did with Janet and Stewart Swerdlow yesterday the 21st of January 2012. We spent the whole week training together on Hyperspace and Oversoul techniques. It was called the OMG Week Long Intensive (OMG meaning Oversoul Mastermind Group). It was INCREDIBLE!!
.
The group of people who gathered were powerful individuals. Yet we all connected on very many levels of existence. Truly an astounding experience for all of us.
.
The song I perform here was via Hyperspace and Oversoul. It was improvised in the moment to resonate with the OMG group. You can hear what a beautiful group it was.
.
I will miss them all very much and look forward to another meeting soon. Hope you enjoy your day more than ever!!
.
Dis-ease does not mean death. Choose to exist for as long as you would like to in this lifeline. And mostly, enjoy yourself while you do!
.
Much love,

Do It Anyway

People are often unreasonable, illogical, and self-centered. Forgive them anyway.

If you are kind, people may accuse you of selfish, ulterior motives. Be kind anyway.

If you are successful, you will win some false friends and some true enemies. Succeed anyway.

If you are honest and frank, people may cheat you. Be honest and frank anyway.

What you spend years building, someone could destroy overnight. Build anyway.

If you find serenity and happiness, they may be jealous. Be happy anyway.

The good you do today, people will often forget tomorrow. Do good anyway.

Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough. Give the world the best you have got anyway.

You see, in the final analysis it is between you and God. It was never between you and them anyway.]]>

Now I start to begin my journey with Teun Verbruggen who is an excellent drummer from Belgium. We are doing about 7 concerts and a recording. Different incarnations with Trevor Dunn, Marc Ducret, Nate Wooley and myself. We are doing several of my compositions and I look forward to hearing the interpretations these artists come up with.

On a health note, I have been taking sea salt baths every day since I returned home from my tour. Touring with a jazz band can be a bit rough on the body so detox is essential. Get your salts from the Dead Sea Warehouse, the link is on my page. Tell Annie I sent you!

Also, been helping my students and other clients with visualizations and chakra spinning. Remember to spin your chakras everyday. If you need help, feel free to meet with me in person via a consultation.

And finally I am working on a solo recording. Will be in the studio for one hour 6 times between now and December. The music will fulfill the healing energy I observe the Earth needs at this moment.

So: sea salt baths, supplements, chakra spinning, visualizations, distilled water....you are on your way. Let's join together and improve the planet by expanding our minds!! ]]>

I conveyed this message to those who attended the concert. Many saying they had been contemplating that very thought - Why are we here? If you are reading this it is for a reason. Because you are here to help.

All of the work I have done is to come to this realization. That those of us who are willing and ready must begin to aid humanity. This of course begins at the core of our own Self. One cannot change the mind-pattern of another. However, by changing our own, we can reflect that out to the rest of the world in a positive stream of consciousness.

Increasing the frequency of the soul personalities operating in and through their body consciousnesses. ]]>

Sat, 24 Sep 11 09:00:00 -0500 Blueberries. http://www.andrewdangelo.com/index.php?page=show_blog&id=69
Blueberries:

1. Catechins found in blueberries activate fat-burning genes in abdominal fat cells to assist with weight loss, and belly fat loss in particular. According to research at Tufts University, regularly ingesting catechins increases abdominal fat loss by 77 percent and double total weight loss.

2. They contain a group of natural phytonutrients (plant nutrient) called proanthocyanidins which have a unique ability to protect both the watery and fatty parts of the brain against damage from some environmental toxins.

3. Blueberries are one of the richest sources of proanthocyanidins. These phytonutrients decrease free radicals levels that are linked to aging (yes wrinkling!) and disease.

4. In animal studies, those given an extract of blueberries had less motor skill decline and performed better on memory tests than animals not given the blueberries. Researchers conclude that compounds in blueberries may reverse some age-related memory loss and motor skill decline.

5. Blueberries are packed with vitamins C, E, riboflavin, niacin, and folate.

6. They are a rich source of the phytonutrients ellagic acid. Ellagic acid has proven anticancer and genetic-material-protection capabilities. It also encourages a healthy rate of apoptosis—how the body seeks out and destroys harmful or damaged cells, like cancer cells.

Sat, 17 Sep 11 17:25:05 -0500 Vacation. http://www.andrewdangelo.com/index.php?page=show_blog&id=68
Nebraska is an interesting place. Not much but corn fields and few other crops. Oddly enough, I never ate any corn nor do I believe any of the organic foods I ingested came from Nebraskan soil.

The chemical residue in the water is palatable to those who choose to drink it. However, I stayed away and bought distilled water at a local health food store called the Red Clover. This is located in Lincoln and if you ever are in that State, I highly recommend this shop.

For the most part we had a nice time. My grandmother was well on her way to dementia since about 6 years ago. We were happy to release her to a better existence. She was an incredible woman and will be dearly missed.

My cousins husband is dealing with cancer and that was interesting to watch. I know that dreaded world all too well. And my uncle died from cancer not more than a year ago. Cancer seems to have many victims, I want that to stop.

Hope you are doing well and see you back here soon for more words.

I decided to take 10 minutes and research some of the ingredients in a few AVON products. True that I do not have great chemistry knowledge of every ingredient but there are some which are known to possibly cause cancer. I suppose it is a good thing a company who sells products which may or may not cause cancer, is sponsoring a walk for cancer.

You decide. And if you have insight on any of these ingredients please feel free to enlighten me.

The definitions and warnings were found at: http://www.natural-health-information-centre.com

Sun, 14 Aug 11 11:52:46 -0500 Musical Minds. http://www.andrewdangelo.com/index.php?page=show_blog&id=66
As each individual spent time on the stage improvising many questions came to my mind. At one point I asked all in attendance if they felt their music could change the world.

On a conscious level I received a few soft replies of "yes" and on a Oversoul level there were many who answered "of course we can!".

I brought up the situation which happened in Norway and also the riots in London. To which a lot of the young attendees looked at me with dismay. Almost wondering why I thought they had anything to do with these events. Or even how they could involve themselves in positively influencing a change on this planet.

It is my utmost belief that these younger artists are the essential component to redirecting the frequency of our planet. Most people of their generation (twenty-somethings) are up against the odds of TV, computers, video games, movies, popular music, modified food, fluoridated water, and political apathy; it was very apparent to me that these creative individuals desired to make a difference.

A difference which can be made through their music. For me it is just a matter of helping them gain a greater awareness. Something I am doing constantly through my own musical expression.

During the evening I asked them about chakras and their understanding of the frequency of the human body. Which for the most part was met with questioning stares. However, I know that awareness and understanding do not always come in an instant. As the answers are shown to us we are allowed accept or ignore the information. My hope is that we are all paying attention to the information that is being brought to us.

I have met some people who feel they have no creative input and actually feel uncreative in their life. But that cannot be further from the truth. We are creation. Reading this post is creative, thinking is creative, and simply just being is creative.

It is our job to help this planet find its way to healing and freedom. Your thoughts, my thoughts, create the reality we have in front of us today. I simply express mine through my art and music. You have your own way of expressing. We are all participants to these seemingly distant events.

Can I change the planet through my music? I say without question the answer is yes!! And can you change the world through your chosen creative vehicle, of course!!

As you and I reflect our thoughts collectively out into the energy of the Universe, let's make them positive and helpful. Send healing tol a friend, help the Earth, love your family, and use the power of thought to manifest inner peace. Which will in turn reflect outwards and help everyone here.]]>

Wed, 10 Aug 11 12:02:29 -0500 More on water. http://www.andrewdangelo.com/index.php?page=show_blog&id=63
They play music to the water; such as Beethoven, Mozart, and heavy metal, then freeze it and examine the crystals. The results are no less than fascinating.

In the film they also talk to the water saying, I Love You, I hate You and other comments. Once again the water is then frozen and observed. Astounding. It makes a good argument for saying kind words to others in our lives. Putting out positive vibrations.

This scientific proof that what we put out into the world infuses in our cellular memory. Humans are 75 to 90% water so everything we think, say, and do is not only remembered consciously but is also embedded in our bodies.

Take some time to watch this video, it will change your perception of our reality.

For most of the movie Tess finds herself living life to its fullest after finding out about the tumor. Living everyday like it was her last. It got me thinking about our life together.

Do you live everyday like it was their last? What is the "brain tumor" in your life?

In the movie, the ex-president's wife Tess went golfing in the snow and even had a picnic at the lake in the middle of freezing temperatures.

So often small things get in the way and living-life-to-its-fullest gets left behind.

Too many times we allow the small things to disrupt our experience. Not realizing that all of us here must enjoy life to its fullest at all times. This will reflect out into the energy of the Universe and create a better place for everyone.

I feel fortunate that Self, Oversoul, the Universe, God-mind or whatever you want to call it, gave me the chance to have a brain tumor. In order for me to remember that life is precious.

Do you know how precious life is? Do you live everyday like it was your last?

Come with me on a ride on the best journey in the Universe, the ride of a lifetime. That is now, that is here, in the moment.

I now no longer let any day go by without appreciation. Gratitude for my life, family, and all the talents I have. Will you please join me!

What are your gifts and talents? Celebrate and use them to help the world be the best existence for all.

Brain tumor was my chance to live life like never before. Surpass your experience and come with me to all that is!!

If you want to be dangerous, drink your local tap water with fluoride in it. And in some cases, chlorine. To me there is no debate that pure drinking water, such as distilled, is more healthy and safer than any municipal tap water. You can decide for yourself of course.

The article quotes Dr. Mercola as saying:

"Did you know there's and 'invisible' drug that a majority of Americans consume on a daily basis - a drug so harmful it's been proven to cause serious health issues, including damage to your bones and teeth, as well as your kidneys, thyroid, pineal gland, and even your brain.

He goes on to say: "This drug is so pervasive that over 40 percent of all American teens between the ages of 12 and 15 show visible signs of having been overexposed to it, and, shockingly, recent international studies indicate that even small doses of this drug can lower the IQ in Children."

In the end he calls this drug he is referring to Fluoride.

While I have not heard many speak of fluoride as a drug, the article does go on to speak of this issue. In any case, you can be assured fluoride, drug or not, is not in my diet on a regular basis. Although, there are most likely occasions when tap water was used to make coffee in a restaurant or cafe and I ingested some.

Also, when you shower the fluoride may soak into your skin. That is why preventative measures must be taken. Do your detoxing with sea salt baths, drink distilled water, and don't accept the negative mind-patterns associated with poisonous fluoridation.

According the to article some of the negatives of swallowing fluoride are (I believe the shower/bath is another form of absorption): Weakened bones, and fatal bone cancer (osteosarcoma), Hyperactivity, Lowered Thyroid function, Chronic Fatigue, Impaired mental development, Arthritic symptoms, Kidney issues and more.

You decide for yourself but there is no way I'm putting this poison into my body.

If I go to JFK or La Guardia here in NY it is the case that I take a taxi or car service (Eastern car service, love that Eastern!). Sometimes, if I am feeling frugal, I take the Airtrain to Newark Liberty Airport (really dig the word Liberty in the name, how are our liberties these days? And at Newark airport: body scanners, security checks, questions; to me, not so liberty-oriented). Which is the reason I left my house in Brooklyn at 1pm for a 5:50pm flight Liberty International Airport. Since I have to travel to another state (Newark being in New Jersey), I needed to leave time to take the F train to Jay Street transfer to the A train which eventually takes me to NY Penn Station, leaving a ride on the New Jersey Transit that leads to the Airtrain and finally Newark Liberty Airport.

Amazingly enough when I got to the F train stop by my house this particular day, Fort Hamilton Parkway, I was greeted rather soon after with an actual train. The F train has been just ridiculous in its behavior as of late. For three months this year it was not running at my stop at all and even skipping more stations before and after Ft. Hamilton. Then, about a week later, it was shut down again causing me to have to take a shuttle bus in order to travel to Manhattan from my house. (Pretty sure buses are my least favorite mode of transportation.) So to walk down into the station and have a train arrive at the platform felt like; ok, this is going to go smoothly.

My leave-time from my house at 1pm meant I had given myself 4 hours and 50 minutes to get to another state to catch my flight to Europe, Denmark this time. Many of my friends give me grief for leaving so early for the airport and even I sometimes question whether I'm leaving too early. But in this case I had a gig in Copenhagen to get to the next day and this was an overnight flight via Frankfurt, so no messing around. I would not miss this flight and I would not be late for it.

I don't like missing flights, like flying but don't like getting to and from the airport. For me, one of the worst airport rides is in Iceland. They have this thing charmingly called The Flybus; a good name for a bus that bounces you back and forth from Reykjavik's main airport, Keflavik, to the city center. But the ride in this Flybus is always (ALWAYS!!) crammed with too many travelers. Somehow, even though it is in a country called Iceland, the bus is always hot and stuffy. Crowded, hot and stuffy for a 45 minute ride equals not comfortable. And then it does what many of these smaller country airport buses do; it goes along just fine to its destination and then stops all of the sudden to pick up a person standing on the side of the road. I don't know why, but that always feels odd to me. In a rush to be early to the airport and I don't want to take the time to pick up yet another customer, haha.

You know, generally I am not comfortable on these Flybusses (they have them in Norway and I think Sweden as well) but usually try to be as comfortable as one can get in such conditions. Crying baby, older people who are slower than you, the tourist who doesn't know exactly where the bus stops as it's his first time in the country, and then yourself, just waiting, preparing for the disembark. When the Flybus in eventually gets to the airport it is an unbelievable mad rush to the check-in lines. I mean, every flight in Iceland practically departs within one or two hours of each other. The check-in for the seemingly small number of flights which leave the country all depart between 7am and 9am (other than the US flights which leave later) and all those people on all those flights have to check-in at the same time and get to the airport at the same time and take the same FlyBus to the airport - what are they thinking!? Anyway, that one is the worst for me and yet I do it often because I love that country and the beautiful people there. Ah yes, the semi crappy Flybus ride is worth the beauty of Icelandic scenery, as long as I'm not too tired or in a rush.

So I arrived at Jay Street/Metro Tech stop in about 25 minutes, around 1:25 pm. Which is good time from my house to catch the A train. Things continued to get better as an A train pulled up as soon as I exited the F. Everything was going so well and felt liquid. Time was in my favor. I started to think; man, when I get to Newark I might have time for some food and a drink! Ahhh, that sounded nice.

You have to remember that part of the reason us musicians opt for a taxi or car service is because of our instruments. Not that others don't have stuff to carry but on my back was: a bass clarinet, laptop, alto saxophone plus clothing bag in tow. Transferring from the F train to the A train at Jay Street/Metro Tech is easy with nothing and somewhat of a pain with all that stuff on me. I always find it weird to see people on the subway with their suitcases. In fact, I dislike it so much and feel so uncomfortable during the process that it almost justifies the $100 taxi ride to Newark Liberty Airport. Still, this day I had decided I am going save money and take the train. And anyhow, almost all of my friends visiting from Europe always take the Airtrain from Newark to my house (or rather, AirTrain, New Jersey Transit, A Train, F Train). Ah heck, what could it hurt to save a few bucks and just train-it.

I had made the F to A train transition efficiently and was on my way to Penn Station to catch the New Jersey Transit. If you have ever been to Penn Station then you know what kind of a statement on New York it is. Guliani saved much of NYC (although, I don't actually believe that statement. That guy was a nazi tyrant. For me, he ruined a lot of what old New York was about. Clubs have closed like crazy and the police run NY now, not artists and parties), in a Disneyland kind of way, and Bloomberg has followed up on that (no smoking in Central Park!), but neither of them could change Penn Station or Port Authority in my opinion. Just some of the raunchiest, dark and ugly buildings in New York I know of (they may or may not be the exact 'raunchiest', but from the buildings I have frequented, they are the top of my list), oddly, I find Grand Central Station to be quite tolerable. For me, especially compared to most European train stations, Americans have not totally embraced train culture.

Made it to Penn Station in almost record time arriving at 2:06 pm. I know the exact time because I looked and saw when the next train to Newark Liberty which was at 2:14 pm. That meant I had 8 minutes to get a ticket and fly onboard. Man, things were just moving so nicely with the trains!! I say train as in "A and F train" but those are just what we call them, they are really subway cars. You know the deal, you have seen them in movies or even ridden them. Hard seats, no room, smelly homeless people sitting next to you and in general, not well kept at all. I actually like the subway as a general mode of transportation though. I've even met people on the subway and later became friends with them. It can be a good meeting place. And if you're drunk enough it can be fun to pass out on a subway and ride it to the last stop. That one is my favorite! About 15 years ago my friend Oscar and I were on the F line pissed on free beer from the old Knitting Factory. We passed out and ended up at Coney Island at something like 6 am. When we woke up, the subway was parked in front of all the rides out there. When we woke up Oscar panicked and said "man, check your pockets!", so I did and nothing had been stolen. Disappointing in a way.

The New Jersey Transit was an actual train; double decker with padded seats. I admit I was kind of looking forward to riding this one after the subway. The conductor explained to me on the platform, after I asked him before boarding, the airport was 3 stops from Penn Station and that there were no passengers in the front two cars of the train. All the rest were packed full of too many people going too many places. I made my way to the front of the train and ended up in the top deck almost by myself. Just a small family with me (they were really tiny!).

My only complaint about this NJT trip was there is no room for our bags. Where do they expect us to put our bags when we are going to the airport!??!?! I'm serious, there was not one place that could house my suitcase, thank goodness I had the whole car to myself. It's an issue I've seen in Holland too. The trains there are very good looking and work, for the most part, efficiently. Only thing is, there is really no place to store your "stuff". When you are a touring musician it is paramount that there is plenty of room to house your instruments.

Which brings me to the overhead compartments on airplanes. Why do people have to bring their tooth brush, underpants and other unnecessary items onto the plane?! There is practically no room in the overhead on flights but people insist they have to have their shampoo in case we do a water landing.

I travel with two irreplaceable instruments. A Selmar bass clarinet and an antique Conn alto saxophone from the 1920's. I cannot put these under the plane because they will break!! It's my life and my sound and my music and my soul. A persons' toiletry bag or clothes can go underneath the aircraft as far as I'm concerned. Always amazed when I'm asked to check one of my "carry-ons". Come on people!! No matter what the case there is never any room for anything in the overhead compartments anyway. I was once on a flight and an older Mexican gentleman brought is guitar with him on the plane. It was one of those huge mariachi type of guitars (didn't see the actual guitar but the case was larger than normal). The owner put it up in the overhead. Only this time, he arranged so the neck of the guitar was sticking straight out into the aisle. Leaving no chance for the bin to close. It was pretty funny to watch as the flight attendant showed him the proper way to store the guitar. Oy.

My point being traveling is difficult enough. If I could, I would happily check my instruments so that I would not have to carry them through airport after airport. If you think about what one human finds important as opposed to what another does, it's rather astonishing. One time when I was flying through London I was forced to check my alto. I begged and pleaded with the staff that I could not do such a thing and explained it was extremely important that I have them with me. (this was after the shoe-bomber scare in London) All of my pleading was to no avail though. The woman checking me in said "one lady had to check her wedding gown, so you should understand". Wedding gown?! You can't break a wedding gown!!! The worst part was when Hilmar Jensson and myself were waiting to board this particular flight, we both happen to glance out the window to our right and saw my alto being loaded onto the plane. It was easily recognizable by its pink covering. As the baggage handler took it off the truck to load it into the aircraft, he decided it was small enough to just toss it onto the conveyor belt. Only thing was he missed it by a foot and my alto went smashing to the ground. I was astounded!! Hilmar said to me "did you see that?!!?" I exclaimed, "YES!!". I actually went down to the tarmac and yelled at the guy. So much for airport security :-p I was angry and upset!! The English chap whom I yelled at went up into the belly of the plane to 'check' on my alto. I knew at that point there was no reason for him to do such a thing, it was all an act on his part. The damage was done. Plus, that was the beginning of a TYFT tour and the possible damage to my horn had me feeling stressed the whole flight.

Speaking of strange carry-ons: on my flight from Newark to Denmark the lady in front of me decided to let her dog roam through the isles. The other passengers and myself looked at her with astonishment as she did this. And with our eyes we all thought, that can't be something the airlines allow, right...? Well, she did it anyway claiming her pet needed some air and food. Just weird if you ask me. I always feel so bad for pets on flights. Difficult enough for us, can't imagine what it is like for them.

Anyway, there was good reason the NJT conductor told me it was 3 stops; the stop before Newark Liberty Airport is Newark Penn Station. More than one European visitor to my Windsor home had gotten off at Newark Penn instead of New York Penn. Of course, I'm certain it depended on the intensity of the conductors New Jersey accent while announcing over the intercom "next stop, Penn Station". (When I first moved to NY in 1986 Chris Speed came to visit me from Boston. He had to take the bus and was told to get off at Port of Tirty. Well, it was actually Port Authority but we were young and fresh to the east coast, those accents from NY and NJ were confusing, Port of Tirty!!! AHAHHA!!) Anyway, thought it was nice of the conductor to tell me which stop and with an accent I could understand. See, everything is cool so far with the trains and timing on this particular trip!!

Shoot, I hit Penn Station right when there was a train heading to Newark Liberty (EWR). Just way ahead of schedule and loving that fact I left so early. Nice. After we hit the station at EWR (Or as I like to call it - Ewark.) I got off the train. Now it was time to take the AirTrain.

On the walk from NJT to the AirTrain you pass a sign that says, "AirTrain, the fast track to the airport" or something like that. But as you approach the Airtrain you realize how fast the fast track must be. Not very fast at all. The best part of the Airtrain are the screens in the waiting areas. These screens show the arrival and departure times of flights at EWR. The only problem is, you can't read any of it. Two reasons for this, one is speed; the screens change to the next page of flights so fast you have no time to read any of it. (OK, so the screens are fast at least!) I did not actually count seconds in between but I would not be surprised if it was one second long. Finally the lady next to me started to laugh and I joined her. They have to be kidding with this shat?! And secondly, to top it off, the screens were out of alignment. You know, like when you see a T and it looks like there are 2 or more of them (how many fingers am I holding up). On the monitor my flight to Copenhagen was overlapped by what looked like 6 flights to Copenhagen. All moving too fast, out of alignment, unreadable and a complete waste of energy.

The Airtrain finally arrived and we boarded these tiny little compartments which are connected like a Disney Land ride. I'm not kidding when I say that because the Airtrain compartments hold about 10 people max, depending on how much luggage they are carrying. Mine was at capacity. Yuck. Things started to look less perfect to me. I'd say the train speed was somewhere in the area of 13 to 17 miles an hour. Not necessarily "the fastest track to the airport" if you ask me.

The Airtrain ride was slow and cramped; stops at P4 (parking level 4 or something), Terminal C (all Continental flights), and then Terminal B, my stop Lufthansa Airlines. It almost felt like those 3 little stops took as long as it did from NY Penn Station. My review of the Airtrain is as follows: EWR is one of the largest airports in the world and by my experience has the smallest compartments for its public transportation, I wish I could crush it out of reality, maybe I will.

A quick story. One time I was going on tour with the Matt Wilson Quartet. Jeff Lederer and myself were taking a car service (Eastern, yes!) to JFK airport to catch our flight. The Airtrain at JFK had just been built but was not in use yet. As we passed the newly constructed Airtrain tracks we wondered how efficient it was. Then Jeff and I noticed there was a train car hanging from the tracks, like it was some kind of installation or advertisement. Well, as it turns out that was the virgin run of the JFK Airtrain. It had gone off the tracks and plummeted towards the ground. We would later learn the driver of that particular train perished. Sad really. But how weird that we were there that very moment. Life and death, that is all there is so enjoy yourself!! Live everyday like it is your last :-)

At this point it had been some time since I left good old Brooklyn and I was ready for a bathroom. But after the Airtrain arrived at EWR Terminal B I decided to just check-in first and get a boarding pass, plus relieve myself of my suitcase. Holy smokes what I saw in that terminal!!!!

There were more lines than I had seen in any airport ever! I have traveled rather extensively and never have I seen this type of line drama. This was NOT chaos. (by the way, I do not believe in chaos or chaos theory, there is a reason for everything) There were people directing this line over here to that line over there to that line down there. Not like when I walk into the airport in Italy somewhere and people are just walking into line as they see fit. Nope, these were lines with organization.

The first line wrapped around 2 times and was a cue for getting your boarding pass. Must get your boarding pass before doing anything else of course. I'm so cranky about those self-check-in machines. First of all there is always a person next to them helping some dolt try and print his/her boarding pass. "No sir, press the enter button." I'm always humored by someone helping someone using the self-service kiosk. I will admit I was that guy who just walked into the front of this particular line. Didn't notice the 2 times wrapped around roped off cue as I approached the self-service kiosk. Before me (after I had cut in line :) at the kiosk there was a man who was getting help from an airport worker and was one of those claiming to not understand English very well. Look, no offense as my foreign language skills are not great either but this particular type of person I find irritating. The woman working at the airport helped the man figure out how to print out his boarding pass, slowly. He had an eastern European accent and was wearing a bright pink shirt, probably about my age but looks in his fifties. She gently and kindly (she really was being patient with him, I was impressed.) points him to the next line he has to get into, the line for the line for bag drop.

No kidding, there was a line which was 4 times wrapped around that was only the line for the next line which was 3 times wrapped around to drop off your bag. The way it was working was you got in the line to wait to get into the next line which was the line to drop off your bag. I will tell you that this all gave me a butt ache!!! But back to the woman patiently helping pink shirt who was acting as though he could not speak English very well.

She points him to the proper line and does so clearly and patiently (she was being very kind to this man!). The Eastern European pink-shirted man claims to be confused and once again, not understand her English. She explains repeatedly. I'm getting impatient as he won't move away from the self-service kiosk so I can use it. He finally moves towards the proper line. Then you know what he does? He lifts up the rope which is wrapping the line (I always feel like we are cattle when going through those roped off lines!) and just cuts in line. You think he doesn't know exactly what he is doing?!?! The passengers waiting in line became irate at this man. They begin to yell at him "get to the back of the line". Amazingly, his misunderstanding of the English language came in handy again. He acts like he doesn't understand what they are saying. That went on for about 3 minutes. Then guess what, he finally moved himself to the back of the line, which by the way, was right next to me. I'd say there were 100 or more people in front of us. My my, a long wait.

My early leave-time was starting to look like a just-in-time one. I waited in the myriad of lines for about an hour until I was finally at the front of the baggage-drop line. Yay!!! I was so relieved. I said to the guy at the counter, "I don't know how you guys do this!". His reply, "sir, your flight has been oversold, may we purchase your seat for 800 dollars cash?". What?! All this for $800?! His recommendation was that I take a flight the next day. Telling me they needed my seat to accommodate other passengers. The thought of returning home and coming back to the airport was frightening and mentally painful. I told him no, that I had to be at a show in Copenhagen. The over-selling of flights is another mystery to me but I'll just leave that one hanging.

Suffice to say, after all this, I was at the gate 3 hours and forty five minutes after leaving my house in Brooklyn; that means I got through security and to the gate at 4:45pm. I have gotten grief in the past for leaving for the airport so early (when I grew up my father was always sooo early to the airport. Must have gotten it from him, thanks pops!). In fact one of my Norwegian friends calls it "Andrew Time" when they get to the airport on the early side. Well, I say no matter what you think, this early arrival to the airport has come in handy and has saved me from missing flights many times.

I eventually boarded my flight and was in Copenhagen 17 hours after leaving my house, including a plane change at the Frankfurt airport. That's another interesting experience. Since Germany was my first stop in the European Union I had to go through passport control. And guess what, another line! This time I made a rough count, there were about 86 people in front of me. My butt hurt again (even though I was standing!). And at the airport in Frankfurt you often have to take a bus to your plane. Yet another ride on some form of transportation!! (yes, there was a line to get on the bus but I made sure I was first!) They cram everyone into this bus which drives out onto the tarmac and leaves you off at the aircraft. As soon as I get off these busses and into the open air for a few moments, I am always so relieved.

When I arrived at the airport in Copenhagen I was greeted with a "Copenhagen Jazz Festival" sign. Ah, my driver was there to greet me. This was finally the end. Wonderful to be back in Denmark. Headed for my hotel, checked in (no line!), and went to my show with Jakob Bro and Kresten Osgood. Something about all that traveling that makes for some excellent music. We had a blast on the show!! ]]>

In the dream a woman took me to the front of a building. She led me into the building which had a huge meeting table and many books on shelves.

She showed me this and then took me back outside. Saying, "memory is not what people think".

"You can access anything inside the building simply by scanning for the information".

Hm, I was perplexed at first. Then she told me to try and see a memory by accessing the information in the books located inside the building.

I did this. To my astonishment I could visualize the inside of the books and read the information. All of the 'memories' were there for me to access, easily.

In actuality memory never disappears, only our ability to access it.

All I have to do is visualize and scan the moment in linear time to recall the memory. Since time is an illusion and everything is actually happening simultaneously, the information she was giving me made a lot of sense.

Next time you have to remember something, go back to the moment when the event occurred and scan it. Use the power of your mind to visualize the recollection.

Visualizing in memory.

While I believe it is important for everyone to take on their part in this world, it is imperative our younger people work at it even harder. As you can see from the Norway situation, you never know what can happen. To me, it is best to stop these situations before they ever come to reality. And I am not saying that this is easy but it has to be done.

In my work I find that 'creation' is the ultimate process for healing. Healing in the way of correcting mind-patterns which allow us to be controlled and manipulated: watched on the internet, tapped on our phones, video cameras on the highway, controlled by government, whatever it may be.

All of the humans on this planet are no longer victims and we have to show the powers that be we will not take it anymore. Get rid of the victim mentality, do release work and mostly, get yourself out there and create!!

Create some music, a loving environment, type a letter that states your purpose, call a friend or your parents, change the planet, let's take this world back! We are the power here, we are the ones who decide what happens next. Free will. Bottom line.

As I watch my nephew interact with fearlessness and intelligence through musical expression, I see that the younger generation has a lot of hope. Let's support them and help them create a planet that is free and healthy. I am doing this, are you?

I read on a the Expansions website that Norwegian Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg (who, by the way, I was told I look like!) mentioned a comment from a girl in an interview on CNN recently "who said it best":

"If one man can show so much hatred, imagine how much love we all can show together."

In health and happiness,

Tue, 19 Jul 11 10:24:46 -0500 Healing Cancer Naturally Pt 2 http://www.andrewdangelo.com/index.php?page=show_blog&id=36
Remember, that any of these healing regiments may or may not be the answer for you so proceed with caution. Always ask your doctor for approval before proceeding.

I was taking the ozone via IV at first. However, this ended up not being cost effective. I proceeded to purchase my own ozone generator and did the applications myself. Contact me via the website if you would like information on purchasing a machine.

At the time I was working with two Intuitives, one of which claimed that ozone was the answer to my cancer issue while the other stated very firmly he believed it may damage healthy cells as well. I proceeded with the protocol nonetheless. I was taking ozone via rectal insufflation plus shooting it directly onto my tumor location in the shower (used an attachment), and also shot it straight into my ears using a stethoscope.

I was also juicing and drinking only distilled water. Something I still do to this day. I ended up purchasing a water distiller from Polar Bear Water company. You can also purchase distilled water from your local supermarket.

Another regiment I had myself on was using material infused with bio photons. These were in the form of bed sheets, pillow cases, and a hat. All of which had the bio photons sewn into them. I purchased these from http://www.huashen.org/ and there are details about how the products work on their website.

From the Hua Shen website:

"Bio photons are modern materials, which are produced from diverse natural plant raw materials. The production essence lays in the instant freezing to ultra low temperatures and shreddering bio materials in the supersonic grinding mills. The result is a mass of non crystal, ultra small particles measured in nanometers that can radiate bio waves 2-25 mc long."

And finally the last point I will talk about today is color therapy. After working with the people at Expansions.com I began to flush the tumor area with the color violet. The color associated with the brain area in the human charka system is royal blue, the crown chakra being violet and the highest color. After flushing the area with violet, I would then make sure to keep royal blue there at all other times. Spinning my chakras every morning when I woke up. Still do this.

For me, color therapy was a strong tool when it came to healing. An associated tool was affirmations. "I am now 100% healthy." "I release the need for cancer." Affirmations to this nature. They should be stated in the present moment, as if they are already completed and also, keep them positive.

I wish you all the best of health and happiness in your life!! ]]>

Then off to Kenny Werner in Valby at the concert hall there. Some straight ahead tunes with Ben Monder. Ben is one incredible guitar player!

It seems many of the big band has been to this festival, Ryan Snow, Ben Monder, and Bill McHenry comes on Saturday to perform with Jakob Bro. Looking forward to that show!!

The last concert I saw last night was with a young man, another student of mine, Søren Pendrup Jørgensen. He is a fine alto saxophonist who plays with all his heart.

Søren recently had brain surgery for a cancerous tumor. He is taking the self-healing route and seems to be doing very well. Looked fantastic and played incredibly well.

I'm always inspired to watch other humans choose the path to healing. Søren, we all wish you the very best on your journey to full health.

An affirmation I have been using: I easily cleanse and release, all old and unnecessary mind-patterns from all levels of my being. ]]>

The process of eliminating the past is done through our colons. When we are unable to eliminate the past, waste builds up in our intestines. When you do the fast and colon cleanse, cellular memory is released. It's a fascinating experience to live without food for several days.

I found that I missed food for only a short while during my fast. Quickly that longing for food turned into the process of elimination. It's suggested that you follow up your colon cleanse with colonics. I went to Gravity East in Manhattan for mine.

The company I chose to go with for this was Blessed Herbs. The staff there is wonderful and extremely supportive. Give it a try and share you story with friends. You will never be the same!! Increase your frequency by fasting and cleansing.

Tue, 31 May 11 15:17:00 -0500 Mobile Phone and Cancer. http://www.andrewdangelo.com/index.php?page=show_blog&id=25
"Mobile phone users may be putting themselves at higher risk of cancer, a major new study has confirmed.

The world Health Organization funded study has found the microwave radiation from mobile phones can increase the risk of brain tumors.

The agency has now listed mobile phones as a 'chronic hazard', alongside lead, engine exhaust fumes and chloroform.

Before its announcement today (May 31st 2011), the WHO had assured people that no ill-effects had been established.

A team of 31 scientists from 14 ountries made the decision after reviewing peer-reviewed studies on phone safety.

The team found evidence that person exposure was 'possibly carcinogenic to humans'.

This means that there is not enough long-term evidence to conclude if radiation from mobile phones is safe, but there is enough data to show a possible connection to tumors.

Mobile phones emit a kind of radiation known as non-ionising. It has been compared to a very low-powered microwave oven.

Dr. Keith Black, chariman of neurology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, told CNN: 'the biggest problem we have it that we know most environmental factors take several decades of exposure before we really see the consequences'.

What microwave radiation does in most simplistic terms is similar to what happens to food in microwaves, essentially cooking the brain."

I'm sure this is not new news to many of you. I keep my body in violet protection and often boost that protection when I am on my mobile phone. Although these days it is difficult to not use our phones, I had one of the early Sprint mobile phones almost 10 years prior to my brain experience.

These dangers seem to be coming to the surface now. There has been a long enough period now where most of us only use our mobile phones and not landlines. Please, it would be interesting to hear feedback on your experiences and/or insights on the subject. ]]>

Tue, 19 Jul 11 09:36:19 -0500 Healing Cancer Naturally Pt 1 http://www.andrewdangelo.com/index.php?page=show_blog&id=24
One supplement I took on the recommendation of Dr. Jeanne Wallace from Nutritional Solutions is Super Curcumin (turmeric) with Bioperine. This derivative of turmeric is known by some to eat cancer cells. I was taking the one from Life Extension (lef.org) but there are more here: agelesscures.com

Also, some have said Hempseed Oil is known to aid in natural cancer treatment. I was taking the one from Manitoba Harvest. It's a great company: manitobaharvest.com The video that inspired me to take this is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_nm7nqUigFA

Bromelain may be another natural cure for cancer. It is derived from pineapple and I took it diligently for many months. I used the one from Metabolic Maintenance but there are others.

This is from the Sloan-Kettering website: "Studies done in vitro and in mice have shown that bromelain has chemopreventive and antitumorigenic effects. Bromelain and other proteolytic enzymes were used as adjuvants in cancer treatments. It also increased the survival indices of animals bearing leukemia, sarcoma, lung, breast, and ascetic tumors; however, the anticancer effects of bromelain have not been evaluated in clinical trials."

And more info from The Healthier Life.co.uk: "... scientists looked at two molecules found in bromelain. One, called CCS, appears to block a protein that is defective in nearly a third of all cancers. The other, called CCZ, activates specific immune cells that are prompted to recognise and kill cancer cells. In animal studies conducted by the QIMR team, the one-two punch of CCS and CCZ was found to be effective in controlling four cancer types: lung, breast, ovarian and bowel."

These are just a few of the things I was doing. More will come in later posts. Remember that you should always check with your health care professional before taking any supplement. I did not do chemo or radiation so there may be interactions; proceed with caution. ]]>

I was moved to feel the energy and positivity of both the teachers and students at this school. On one level I felt so nervous to be around them and yet at the same time, I realized how fortunate those of us are who do not have these challenges.

Music is the healing force of the Universe. We played and danced our heart for these children in the hopes this would create some healing in all of us. ]]>

Wed, 25 May 11 18:20:19 -0500 Musical Instruments as Carry On. http://www.andrewdangelo.com/index.php?page=show_blog&id=20
I support the FAA Air Transportation Modernization and Safety Improvement Act, S. 223, which sets a uniform national policy for all airlines regarding musical instruments as carry-on luggage on airplanes. S. 223 institutes a uniform national carry-on policy that takes musicians’ needs into consideration. Only S. 223, which was passed by the Senate in February 2011, allows any instrument to be carried on board that can fit in an overhead bin or under the seat.

While both versions of the bill include provisions that address musical instruments, the language in the House bill, H.R. 658, simply maintains the status quo, which is much less favorable for musicians.

Fri, 18 Mar 11 21:38:11 +0100 AGOGIC. http://www.andrewdangelo.com/index.php?page=show_blog&id=7
After returning to the States I trained it to Baltimore and did a show at Wind Up Space with some improvisers there. A real nice group of folks. Believe me, it was not easy taking a flight from Reykjavik to JFK and then getting on the train the next morning for Baltimore. Although, when it comes to making music, somehow, the tiredness does not seem to bother me. Played 3 sets in Baltimore and had fun on all of them!

After the Baltimore show I flew myself to Seattle for the [strong]AGOGIC[/strong] CD release party. What a time that was. Cuong Vu and myself have started this new group with younger musicians from Seatte, Evan Woodle who is our drummer and on the electric bass is the wondrous Luke Bergman. Incredibly talented young players, indeed.

I'm including a link to the [strong]Table and Chairs[/strong] website which is a start-up label based in Seattle. You can find a link to our new disc as well as a few other great recordings. Please check it out and let us know what you think.

Also, we are updating the website and it should be here soon! Working with a great web designer from Denmark named Simon Eskildsen. Looking forward to the new and improved ad.com.

The CD can be found here: http://www.tableandchairsmusic.com/artists/agogic/

Tue, 11 Mar 11 14:12:17 +0100 Positive. http://www.andrewdangelo.com/index.php?page=show_blog&id=6
In Chicago it turned out there was a documentary film crew there from London doing some short pieces on having a positive attitude towards life. They heard me talk about my story on stage at the Hungry Brain in Chicago and ended up doing an interview with me. All of this was "by chance" as they had no idea why they showed up at that particular club to see us play. But really, is there anything that doesn't happen for a reason?

As I progress through the writing of my book about the brain tumor I realize that having a positive attitude can make a huge difference when it comes to healing. Whether that healing is from an illness or something which is not life-threatening.

I am happy to report that all of us have helped this world be a better place. We have created an environment which is loving and supportive. My travails through brain helped me realize we are here to help each other. That help is in the form of support through positive thinking.

I have never looked at my brain experience as a negative situation and to be honest, I am so grateful that I get to play my music again. It's because we all came together to bring healing to the situation. This is something I feel we should do everyday of our lives.

I hope everyone is having a happy new year and supporting the process of healing our world. It can use the help, just as I needed it. As I see friends in need, I reach out to them through my artistic expression and create an environment for healing. This too I am so grateful for. That life has brought me this opportunity to give back.

Thank you and have the best day ever! Andrew]]>
